In January 2024, I visited the Daughter’s of Ruth Orphanage Children’s Home for the first time, bringing rice, eggs, and small gifts. The home was simple—thin mattresses, plain walls—but the children’s bright smiles made everything else fade away. Their laughter stayed with me long after I left.

By March 2025, my family and I returned with more supplies and a 25,000 THB donation. The children greeted us like old friends, holding our hands and sharing their dreams—of becoming teachers, nurses, and doctors. Their resilience strengthened my commitment to supporting them.

The Daughter’s of Ruth Orphanage Children’s Home Founded on October 30, 2007, under the Rak Darunee Foundation, the Daughter’s of Ruth Orphanage in Thailand is more than a shelter. （https://www.drf07.org/）It’s a safe haven for orphans, children with incarcerated parents, and those at risk of human trafficking. Here, they receive love, education, and guidance to become compassionate, empowered individuals.
